Lýseis Consulting Services Inc. hereinafter “LCSI” is committed to protect the privacy of Users on its website. LCSI is the sole owner of the information collected on this website, www.lyseis.ca or solutions@lyseis.ca. LCSI collects information from Users on the “Contact Us” page of the website. In addition, there are various links throughout the LCSI website that bring visitors to its “Contact Us” page. The information requested on the “Contact Us” page is utilized to respond to specific User inquiries or requests. A User must provide contact information (such as name, email, telephone contact and address) if they desire a reply to their inquiries.

INFORMATION USE

This information is used for responding to the inquiries and/or requests. Contact information is not formally retained by LCSI for any purpose other than to respond to the specific inquiry of the individual and/or firm submitting the contact information. If LCSI encounters difficulty in responding to a request and/or if additional information is required, the contact information may be used to communicate with the User in an effort to obtain clarification.

LOG FILES

The LCSI Web Site (through its Internet Service Provider) logs IP addresses and browser types for systems administration purposes. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks in order to analyze trends, administer the site, track visitors’ movements in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This information is not linked to personally identifiable information. Although the User’s session will be tracked, the User’s personal identity will remain anonymous.

COOKIES

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the User’s computer tied to information about the User. This website only uses session cookies that expire at the end of your browser session and are only used to track your current login status and last login. LCSI do not track personal information or collect any information from a site User’s computer.

DISCLOSURE

Depending upon the nature of the request, LCSI collects information in order to respond to the inquiry or request. User’s information is not disclosed or formally retained for any other purpose. To the extent required by law, LCSI makes every reasonable effort to protect User’s privacy, however it is understood that LCSI may be required to enact disclosure authorized by a statute of Alberta or Canada, a regulation of Alberta or Canada, a bylaw of a local government body, or a legislative instrument of a professional regulatory organization. When required by law or when LCSI has a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to ensure compliance with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on its website, LCSI will conduct itself accordingly.

CHOICE/OPT-OUT

There are no opt-out options offered to Users since their information is used only for the purpose of responding directly to inquiries or requests for information that have been submitted to LCSI.

LCSI’s use of social media serves as an extension of its presence on the Web. Social media account(s) are public and are not hosted on LCSI servers. Users who choose to interact with LCSI via social media should read the terms of service and privacy policies of these third-party service providers and those of any applications used to access them.

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES

Any amendments to the LCSI privacy policy, will be posted to the privacy statement section of the LCSI website, the homepage, and other places deemed appropriate to provide awareness to Users concerning the information collected, how it is used, and under what circumstances, if any, disclosed. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

Since no formal log or database of User information is maintained by LCSI, we will not notify Users of changes to our privacy policy via e-mail.
